We got started when Asha expressed an interest in me, in the last week of March 2007. I liked her profile, felt we had something in common, and accepted her interest. I consider myself lucky to have met her and even luckier to have met her within the the first two weeks of uploading my profile on Shaadi.com. Sticking with our family tradition, we exchanged horoscopes and got parental consent. We then communicated through email and telephone and exchanged pictures. This was the best that we could do since we lived on different continents. In the next two months, we continued to develop a good acquaintance of each other. We shared our interests and thoughts. Once we were comfortable with each other, we decided to meet, face-to-face. I proposed to her in our first face-to-face meeting. Her "yes" resulted in our engagement on July 22nd, 2007!!! We have chosen December 10th as our wedding date. It has been a lovely journey so far and i hope, with god's blessings, it will continue to be this way.
